520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc Takes the readers through all the stages of Saint Paul's thought. The story begins on the road to Damascus with the key discovery: Christ is risen! Next comes the immediate corollary: the risen Christ will return. This is the theme of the Epistles to the Thessalonians. The Epistles to the Corithians and Philippians show that even now our everyday life is an experience of Christ's presence and a foretaste of the salvation he has earned for us. The clarification of the doctrine of salvation through Christ is the object of the Letters to the Galatians and the Romans. The Epistles to the Colossians and Ephesians are the study and the contemplation of the mystery of Christ. Finally the Pastoral Letters to Titus and Timothy provide us with the Apostle's testament, or rather his instruction to the Church. A single line sums them all up: faithfulness to the ever-living Christ.
