Brown card stock covers with gilt lettering and decoration on the front. From page v: "The Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom celebrated of the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 6 August 1983 - Vancouver, British Columbia during the Sixth Assemply of the World Council of Churches." The text is multi-lingual best described by listing the contents as follows: 1 - "Introduction to the Text of the Divine Liturgy" by His Eminence Archbishop Iakovos, 2 - "Editor's Preface" by N. Michael Vaporis, 3 - "Reflections on the Diivne Liturgy" by Alkiviadis Calivas, 4 - "The Divine Liturgy (text in English), 5 - "The Divine Liturgy (text in Greek), 6 - "La Divine Liturgie (text in French), 7 - "The Divine Liturgy (text in Slavonic), 8 - "Musical Selections from the Divine Liturgy (in Greek and English), 9 - "Epistle and Gospel readings, 10 - "Musical Selections from the Divine Liturgy (in Greek and English). Red multi-lingual rubrics throughout. Sounds a bit complicated and I do admire the editor for the work in putting this all together. Very mionor wear to the edges of the covers, otherwise clean with a sound binding.
